Applications for the Master of European Studies programme will be accepted via online application system available on the Faculty of Political Science web pages from September, 23 at 7:00 a.m. to September, 24 at 11:59 p.m. (CEST) – link for the online application system will be available here.
The preliminary ranking list for admission to the Master of European Studies graduate program will be published on September 25, 2024.
The final ranking list for admission to the Master of European Studies graduate program will be published on September 26, 2024.

ACADEMIC RECOGNITION OF FOREIGN HIGHER EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Before applying for the Master of European Studies programme all candidates who obtained their bachelor/undergraduate degree at foreign higher education institution must apply for academic recognition of foreign higher education qualifications and recognition of periods of study at foreign higher education institutions for the purpose of continuing education in Croatia.

ENROLMENT REQUIREMENTS
Candidates for admission to the Master of European Studies do not take an entrance exam. Applications will be ranked based on the undergraduate study grade point average.
Prerequisite for the enrolment of graduate study programme for equivalent undergraduate programmes
Completed 4-year undergraduate university study programme - 240 ECTS
Prerequisite for the enrolment of graduate study programme for non-equivalent undergraduate programmes
Completed non-equivalent 4-year undergraduate university study programme (240 ECTS) in social sciences or humanities in Republic of Croatia
Completed non-equivalent 4-year undergraduate university study programme (240 ECTS) in social sciences or humanities abroad
Applicants who have completed 3-year undergraduate university programme (180 ECTS) can’t apply for the Master of European studies programme!
A good command of spoken and written English (B2) is required.

1. Cover letter in English;
2. CV in English;
3. 2 academic letters of recommendation;
4. Certified copy of a diploma (validated by the University of Zagreb);
5. Grade transcript;
6. Certificate of proficiency in English (B2 minimum).

ENRLOMENT
Enrolment will take place at the Admissions Office of the Faculty of Political Science (Ul. Škendera Fabkovića 1, 4th floor, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia) on September 30, 2024. Candidates not enrolled within the prescribed period lose their right to enrol!
To enrol, candidates will need the following documents:
1. OIB (Personal Identification Number). Information on the general rules and assigning of OIB can be found here;
2. Proof of residence (police station) - only for candidates residing outside Zagreb;
3. Filled out enrolment form (provided by the Admissions Office);
4. Photo 4x6 cm;
5. Filled out study contract (provided by the Admissions Office);
6. Confirmation of enrolment fee payment – 40,00 Euros;
7. Confirmation of tuition fee payment – 2.000,00 Euros.

Amount: 2.000,00 Euros, or 1.000,00 Euros if student wishes to pay the tuition fee in two instalments.

HOUSING, SCHOLARSHIP AND STUDENT CARD (X-card)
Students can choose between two housing options: living in a student residence hall or private accommodation. The University of Zagreb does not guarantee student accommodation. Students who decide to seek accommodation in the student halls of residence need to apply for it. More information is available here.
The Faculty of Political Science does not provide scholarships.
Enroled students will receive a student card (X-card) that they can use in student restaurants. However, non-EU students are required to pay the full price of the meal.
