Description: | |||||||
The main objectives are to provide journalism students with the knowledge about children rights within the media and broader public as well. Past experiences have shown a lack of sensibility among journalists when reporting about children and especially when dealing with tragic events. On the other hand, a series of positive events regarding children finds no place in the media. This course puts a special emphasis on research about the influence and the misuse of social media among children of all ages. Finally, this course regards all aspects of education and media literacy. |
